Jane & John arrived on Thursday afternoon to help Gram and Ruth with preparations for the Reunion. Bill arrived Friday night. Saturday was the Fraser Reunion at Chapman Park on Oneida Lake. What a beautiful day! Fraser family members came from across New York state, New Jersey, Maryland and Minnesota. Jane was surprised to find pictures of her taking the US Citizenship oath. Then she found that everyone was wearing either red, white or blue to honor her. Even the table cloths and plastic silverware were red, white and blue. Then we had a grand family feast. The out of state-ers enjoyed the white hots from upstate NY.
On Sunday morning Bill, Jane, John & Ruth rode with Jack & Theresa to Bloomfield to attend the Thomas Reunion at (Grampa's) Thomas Pond. We stopped at the Cemetery to pay our respects to Dad. It was another beautiful day at the Pond with Aunt Dorthy, Uncles Charlie, Dick & Ben, and so many cousins. The high point of the day for Jane was when she got to ride Stepheni's horse. We enjoyed another feast with white hots.
