We were invited to the 49.5 year Anniversary Party for John & Pat Berling. What a beautiful day, the party was at their son's house and it was a lawn party, complete with a brass band. There were over a hundred people at the party. On the way there we stopped and visited with Dennis & Ann Fields, then we rode to the party with them. Before the party Jane gave John & Pat a four CD set with the Top 100 songs of 1956. John & Pat loved the gift and enjoyed reading thru all the song titles. Also attending the party was our neighbor Mark Dingmann's mother Tina who has worked for years for the Berlings.
