We visited Mountain Home, AR to see Herb & Ana Maria Murphy, a USS Lafayette SSBN-616 submarine shipmate of Bill's and stayed at their home. We found northern Arkansas to be beautiful and their backyard garden looked like paradise. We spent all day on their pontoon boat on Lake Norfork. The guys enjoyed too many beers mixed with old stories for a couple of days. Jane had a good old fashion southern breakfast complete with grits. Jane also learned how to use a hammock.
