After much time studying American History, Jane passed the US Citizenship test on her 1st try. Then she received notice to take the Oath of Allegiance on July 13th at 12:30pm at Bethel College. Jane wore a Chinese top and America jeans for the ceremony. Bill along with Jane's coworkers Linda and Jodi witnessed this special event. After Jane arrived at her assigned seat, she went to the front of the hall to find Bill and her friends. When she could not find them in the balcony, a worker asked the names of who she was looking for, then he announced over the PA "will Bill Fraser and Linda Grant, please stand up." The group of almost 600, representing 87 countries, took the Oath at 2:15pm. We had Champagne with a special dinner that evening.
