Bill & Jane
June 1-3, 2007
On the way to the Italian Rivera, we stopped for a couple of days in Geneva.  Jane discovered that she loves cheese fondue.  We toured the Le Jet d'Eau (460' water fountain), L'Horloge Fleurie (16' wide garden clock),  Promenade des Bastions (botanical garden that includes giant chess boards).  We also took a cruise on Lake Geneva where we saw The Little Mermaid of Lake Léman, a bronze statue.  On the train from Geneva to Italy we saw the beautiful country side and Jane was amazed how they plateaued the mountain sides to grow crops.
